FundLife.ai
Streamline Follow-Ups, Simplify Updates, and Draft with Confidence.
We created FundLife.ai to reduce the time to draft, collaborate, and approve fund documents. I worked on this project as part of my internship at Hibernia Venture Labs in collaboration with the FundLife.ai shareholders. The product team which consisted of myself and two others, were tasked with figuring out the pain points of fund lawyers and the process of drafting and approving fund documents. Within the three months we had worked closely with employees at Arthur Cox and Maples to identify what was causing these documents to take months to approve. I then created wireframes, carried out testing, and I then created the brand guidelines as we needed to show investors the product.
Problem
Getting fund documents edited and approved is a notoriously slow process in the world of fund law. Legal teams, compliance officers, and fund managers often rely on lengthy email threads, revised word documents, and disconnected workflows to collaborate. This results in delays, errors, and duplicated work. On average, it can take 6 to 12 weeks for fund documents like prospectuses or shareholder reports to be reviewed and approved, involving over 100 back-and-forth emails per document. When a client approached us to build a platform to address this problem we developed FundLife.ai, a collaborative digital platform that centralises document approvals and shortens the review cycles.

AI Powered SaaS Solution
We leveraged AI to enable advanced document creation directly on the platform. This reduces the amount of labour and time spent drafting documents. The AI agent follows the firms pre determined criteria and guides the team throughout the client interactions & fund structuring process.
Update All Documents With One Click
To address the problem managers were facing of approving prospectuses that were being piled up on their desk, we implemented an update all button within the platform.
Advanced Stakeholder Collaboration
The platform needed to offer everyone the ability to access the documents. To do this we created multiple users that managers could assign to employees, giving different permissions to different users and changing what the user saw based on what their position is.
